Writer Aldous Huxley called it "The most beautiful lake of the world".
The name Atitlán derives from the náhuatl language and its meaning is: "Near the water". Its beauty never stops surprising us, whether on a sunny or a cloudy day, with its stunning sunsets, scenic views, and by three mighty volcanoes.
It´s a place to wittness the local people living out their traditions.
Lake Atitlán area offers a variety of land and water activities from zip lining to kayaking.
