Natural Reserves

This area is one of the Guatemala´s favorite destinations for adventure and ecoturism. It is characterized by its caves, forests, waterfalls, rivers and natural pools, offering mountain hiking, river rafting, and the Quetzal Biotope routes, with perhaps the opportunity to see the country´s elusive national bird, the Quetzal. The region counts on several and diverse Maya communities, where it is possible to interact with locals and see at first hand how their society dynamics is and enjoy of their culture and traditions.
