Semuc Champey
Semuc Champey is a natural monument with an interesting geological history. It has a natural 300 m limestone bridge, with the Cahabón river passing beneath. A series of stepped turquoise pools, sits on top of the bridge, and it´s a popular place to swim. A hike up the mountain to a lookout point, provides a view of the canyon that surrounds Semuc Champey. Visitors can make a day trip or camp in the park. "Kim Arin" in the local Maya Kekchí language translates to "Come here in".
