Tikal National Park

Declared a "Natural and Cultural World Heritage" in 1969 by UNESCO.  This is a protected zone that shelters wildlife proper of the tropical rain forest, as well as cultural remains with buildings of a wide rank of sizes and heights.  Those structures reflect the ancient Mayan way of life.
