Indications: Tikal can be reached in different ways.
One is driving througout the Interoceanic Highway CA-9 and on the Km. 246. at La Ruidosa village.
You turn to the left and getting to Rio Dulce you need to drive five more hours to get to Tikal.
Another route, is to drive to Coban 209 Km./130 Mi. and turn to the road to Sayaxche.
This route includes a ferry, and you pass by Santa Elena town and an hour later, you get to Tikal.
The other way to go to Tikal is flying from the International Airport La Aurora to Mundo Maya International Airport in Santa Elena/Flores.
There are two flights (50 minutes each), every day.
