Pacaya volcano represents the strength of our land. Its eruptions and constant activity fills Guatemala with life and fertility.
To hike this active volcano is an experience you´ll never forget as it is active with the opportunity to roast a marshmallow in its lava spill!
Pacaya has a level 2 difficulty. Making it accessible to the average person. At night is possible to appreciate the lava that comes out of its active crater "McKenney Cone".
Pacaya is not as tall as other volcanoes, but it includes two important calderas: Lake Amatitlán and Calderas lagoon.
Don´t miss the adventure of seeing this interesting volcano whether hiking it or riding a horse.
